The following information was provided to The Progress-Index by the Dinwiddie County Sheriffs Office. McCoy Jones, 30, of the 5900 block of Church Road was charged with 11 counts of distribution of cocaine, 8 counts of forgery and uttering (Petersburg offense) and failure to appear on Oct. 28.

An escaped Muscogee County inmate is back in custody after being captured outside a school in Phenix City. Walker Sapree was captured Saturday, after walking off a work detail Friday morning in Columbus.

TANKER FLIPS 
A truck driver was seriously injured yesterday when the fully loaded tanker he was driving flipped on the New Jersey Turnpike exit ramp in Woodbridge, causing highly diluted liquid chlorine to leak from the truck and stream down the ramp.
