New Web Site Aims to Educate and Build Confidence in Identity Theft Protection
A new survey conducted by the nonprofit Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC) and Fellowes, Inc., the leading shredder manufacturer, reveals that Americans have misunderstandings of identity theft that leave them vulnerable to the crime. In an effort to clear up the confusion, a new Web site, http://www.idconfidence.org/ , is launching to educate consumers about the threat of identity theft.
