Crime on the rise in Utah Valley 
Internet safety, identity theft and drug use in Utah Valley were areas of concern discussed Friday by BYU crime prevention officer, Jennifer Jensen, to a group of faculty, students and Provo residents in the WSC.

Identity theft virus infects 10,000 computers 
More than 10,000 Australian computers have been infected by a trojan virus - invisible to most anti-virus software - that is transmitting their owners' private details to identity thieves. -

Nevada Senator Harry Reid says he is a victim of identity theft. The Senate Minority leader noticed this week that someone used his Mastercard number to charge about $2,000 at a Wal-Mart and other stores in North Carolina.

Deputies and Secret Service Agents Bust I.D. Theft Ring 
MEMPHIS, TN - Shelby County sheriff's deputies along with Secret Service agents bust an identity theft ring in East Memphis. Now, investigators are looking for Ronald Yancey and Jamell Richmond. Deputies have linked at least 26 theft cases in and around Memphis to the two men.
