Kids warned of ID-theft dangers
When 20-year-old Zach Freisen was 7, a thief stole his Social Security number and used it to buy a houseboat. Freisen didn't find out about the identity theft until he was 17 and applied for his first job. He spent at least 40 hours on the phone and filling out forms before the mess was straightened out, he said.
